PARALEGAL SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying advanced knowledge of legal principles and concepts, and skill in interpreting a body of laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or precedents. Examples of specialized experience must include: 1) Preparing forms, standard legal documents, and routine correspondence; 2) Conducting investigations and information gathering, such as interviewing law enforcement and potential witnesses, to determine pertinent facts; 3) Acting as a court reporter and maintaining appropriate recording logs; 4) Delivering presentations/trainings regarding legal or administrative procedures.
