LEAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience interpreting plans, schematics, drawings, specifications, and making field adjustments/modifications though technical knowledge of naval shipboard systems and components through experience in ship repair, operation, or troubleshooting. Experience conducting shipboard equipment testing, assessments, identifying of out-of-parameter conditions on ships, training team members in methods and techniques of various crane types and models, crane maintenance, and tracking crane assessments/inspections. Experience negotiating solutions to problems, resolving challenging technical shipboard issues, showing proficiency in the areas of fleet technical assistance, assessments and Inspections, repair recommendations, repair oversight, and logistics support. Experience leading a team of government employees, military members and contractors in the performance of assigned tasks and assignments though effective communication, both orally and in writing. You will serve as a LEAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Deck Machinery Branch (Code 255), Auxiliary Systems Division (Code 250), Engineering Department (Code 200), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
