Pharmacy Technician (Sterile Compounding)

You qualify at the GS-07 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: A. I qualify for this position at the GS-07 level because I have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Accurately compounding sterile medications using aseptic technique; cleaning, operating, and maintaining specialized pharmacy equipment including biological safety cabinets; accurately performing pharmaceutical calculations; accurately measuring appropriate ingredients; and accurately logging investigational drugs to maintain inventory balance. OR B. I qualify for this position at the GS-07 level because I have completed one full year of graduate education, or an internship, in Pharmacy related education. One year of full-time graduate education is the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study, or 18 semester hours. OR C. I qualify for this position at the GS-07 level because I have a combination of graduate level education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
