You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. You must meet the screen-out element Ability To Provide Production Support Services, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element, applicants must have: A novice working with Industrial machinery/equipment electronics, and are unable to finish most work without assistance from more knowledgeable technicians. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified. Your application will be evaluated in the following areas: Ability To Provide Production Support Services (screen-out), Knowledge of Equipment, Structure, Materials, etc. (includes constructing repair, and forging), Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprint reading), Dexterity (Assembly Disassembly Reassembly etc). This position is located at US Mint,Manufacturing Directorate – West Point – Production Division, Numismatics Section and is responsible for a variety of processes used in the making of circulated / uncirculated precious metal, gold, silver, palladium, and platinum, and other metals, coins and medals (domestic or foreign).
