Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1). Analyze contracts to provide recommendations to improve the efficiency of operations at the training center facilities; 2). Develop logistical operation plans to prepare budget estimates for contract requirements to accomplish organizational missions; 3). Create schedules regarding contract evaluations to rate contractor performance; and 4). Recommend reallocation of existing resources to avoid waste and increase productivity throughout the training center facilities. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Attention to Detail Contracting/Procurement Oral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
About the Position: The incumbent Works under the general supervision of the Chief of Staff/Executive Officer Operations Group, who outlines work and provides broad general policies, objectives, and priorities; and is available to discuss problems and/or new policies, long range plans and special projects.
