Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing leadership skills to lead a team in support of the missions, functions, and tasks of an organization. Experience utilizing resource management knowledge, skills, and abilities such as budget development, planning, and execution. Experience utilizing organizational management to plan, organize, and direct the work activities of personnel and coordinating with others in the organization to meet objectives. Experience communicating and writing with high level personnel and with Human Capital Management policies, guidance, and practices. Experience making recommendations for performance awards and other incentives awards including on-the-spot, civilian of the quarter and year, etc. Experience providing advice, counsel, and instructions to subordinates, supervisors, and employees on work and administrative matters and making decisions on special problems presented by subordinate supervisors and hearing and resolving complaints and grievances which are not resolved at a lower level. Experience analyzing and assessing survey related programs, identifying weaknesses, and advising leadership on improving survey manning, training vessel operations, and technical documentation and guidance supporting seagoing operations.
