Requirements: · Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline. · Must have knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and various other software applications. · Must be a self-starter who possess the ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team as required. · Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, as well as have the ability to establish effective working relationships with senior staff and other high-ranking officials. *Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
This Finance Internship will provide an immersive experience into the world of Federal Finance through job shadowing and participation in special projects to include but not limited to (1) Financial Counseling activities and voucher/lease review (2) House Finance Card account review and reconciliation (3) Payroll Counseling and Operations support/data entry, (4) Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
