Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have valid driver’s license. Must have cash handling and computer experience. Applicant must have experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in activities or programs; and practical knowledge and /or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Investigation. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.. This position is also Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility.
