EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Collecting, analyzing, interpreting and developing information about equipment operations and parts; 2) Ability to develop and analyze information about the equipment and make technical recommendations based on the principles, practices and procedures used in the design, procurement, construction, overhaul, operation, supply, maintenance, modification and repair of complete equipment systems and groups of assigned parts and/or subassemblies; and 3) Using computer systems to operate computers on a daily basis to research parts information (i.e. stock checks, manufacture cross references, SPS, CD Rom systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Construction Equipment data files, Excel, MICROSNAP, LOGICOM, and Word Processing). You will serve as an Equipment Specialist in the Expeditionary Maintenance Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
