Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using Federal directives and policies to assist with responses to inquiries regarding military promotions/advancement. 2) Conducting research to provide technical and administrative assistance to promotion/selection/advancement boards. 3) Preparing correspondence/briefs/advisory opinions/emails to provide advice to military members/supervisors/managers/leadership and other officials. 4) Gathering information and summarizing results to make informed recommendations to resolve problems. 5) Using military human resource information systems to conduct research and collect information.
