Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level, (GS-12), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading engineering efforts (e.g. design, construction, repair) for ship conversion and modernization, relative to mechanical ship systems and/or ship testing, to resolve issues and enhance efficiency, while minimizing costs and technical risks for the alignment of program goals supporting ship or submarine projects.
