Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) providing direct administrative assistance to ensure actions are accurately prepared and processed, (2) Maintaining individual training files for trainees and permanent party soldiers, (3) managing military personnel duty status in automated systems, including arrivals, departures, (4) attachments; monitoring training requirements and tracking systems; and (5) advising personnel on administrative matters and policies; and ensuring timely submission of evaluations. This definition of specialized experience aligns with typical work performed at the next lower grade/level in federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer Literacy Operations Support Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
About the Position: Serves as principal administrator responsible to the company commander of a company. Processes trainee and permanent party actions in accordance with regulations, policies and guidelines. This is a TEMP position NTE 13 Months. This position is a Temporary Promotion that can be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.
