You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 14 grade level in the Federal service: Developing a cogent plan delineating business/investment strategy for staff capability requirements and information technology support. Formulating positions and presents findings and recommendations to senior level management. Developing cost models to enable higher-level authorities to ascertain the cost of business consistent with the Joint Staff guidance. Providing divisional level advisory services for resourcing, acquisition, and managers’ Internal Control program efforts. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the authoritative Financial Management lead for the J6 Directorate and JS Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO).
