Specialized experience is defined as: experience drafting, editing, and preparing written documents; providing advice in regards to EEO, Disability, and Civil Rights policies, and reviewing written materials for accuracy. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is located in the Office for Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity Policy (OCREOP) within the Office of Force Resiliency (OFR), and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (OUSD (P&R)) and reports directly to Director. The USD (P&R) serves as the principal advisor and assistant to the Secretary of Defense for all matters concerned with the formulation of Departmental plans and policies for acquisition, management, and the readiness of the Total Force.
