You may qualify at the GS-15 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Leading the management of the Military Operations Domain as part of the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM); Leading, overseeing and/or facilitating identification, analysis and/or resolution of warfighting data sharing and data interoperability needs through piloting, operational assessments, technology demonstrations, and developmental activities; Leading the Warfighter Mission Data Catalog initiative supporting Warfighting Mission Area capabilities, ensuring critical data is available for operational use; Leading Warfighter data and standards integration support to C4/Cyber Combat Capability Developer and Joint Fires functions, ensuring that warfighter information sharing requirements at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels are properly identified, documented, and resolved ( e.g., through doctrine, policy, or materiel solutions); Researching, determining or recommending appropriate actions or interpretation of issues impacting the organization Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Serves as Division Chief, Data and Standards, and reports to the Deputy Director, Cyber and Command, Control, Communications and Computer Integration (DD C51), Joint Staff J6. Duties cover a broad range of responsibilities working with DoD, Interagency, and Multinational stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve Combatant Command and Service operational data sharing and data interoperability needs
