You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes obtaining vital signs, and/or patient history, applying, removing, and or/modifying various types of splints and braces, and assisting physician with examinations, treatments and/or procedures.
About the Position: Position is within the Kenner Army Health Clinic Main Building Department of Orthopedics and Physical Therapy. Work hours M-F 0700-1600. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
