CONTRACT SPECIALIST
STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS (SSP) - Department of the Navy
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a Contract Specialist reviewing and applying federal procurement and contracting laws, regulations, policies, procedures methods and contract types applicable to pre-award and post-award contract actions; overseeing a variety of complex contracting and procurement activities including contract formulation, negotiation, administration, and termination; and providing technical advice and guidance in the area of contracting/procurement to staff and leadership. You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Plans and Programs Division (SP10), Office of Contracts (SPN) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
