Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be at minimum an intermediate skier or snowboarder and have practical knowledge of teaching techniques. Conditions of Employment: Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/ AED training certification. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI), State Criminal History Repository Check (SCHRC), and Installation Records Check (IRC).
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation/Hillberg Ski Area. This is a Flexible position not to exceed (NTE) May 15th, 2025. Flexible employees have work schedules that depend on the needs of the activity. You may work a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Flexible employees may be subjected to “on call” work in addition to hours posted on the schedule.
