SUPERVISORY FACILITIES MANAGER

For the NO-04 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS 11-12) or pay band (NO-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Facilities Manager. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of engineering and construction features of large-scale projects to assure adherence to plans and specifications; 2) Adapting standard practices, equipment, or techniques in developing technical parameters and preparing justifications for the development of plans and designs for the improvement and alternation of existing facilities; 3) Applying facilities management principles and practices, including planning, programing, and budgeting to effectively utilize the unit’s responses in meeting goals and objectives; 4) Exhibiting the ability to supervise personnel, elicit their support and cooperation, evaluate their performance, and satisfy EEO requirements; and 5) Communicating both orally and in writing with officials at various levels in the chain of command. You will serve as a Supervisory Facilities Manager in the Support Services Branch of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY CONUS.
