In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Producing and developing civil engineering design packages, including budgeting, design drawings, plans, specifications and design-build requests for proposals in areas as Potable Water, Storm water and Sanitary Sewer system Design, Grading and Roadway Design, Geotechnical Analysis, and Surveying; 2) Reviewing civil engineering design submissions to provide subject matter expert acceptance recommendations to officials; 3) Providing a wide range of shore based engineering projects in relation to site developments, roads, airfields, water supply, sewer systems, drainage, dredging, waste facilities, shore protection, and other large/industrial civil engineering projects; 4) Providing civil engineering design consultation services utilizing software/systems (i.e. AutoCAD, Western Washington Hydrology Model, Civil 3D, hydrologic modeling software); and 5) Providing guidance with Construction Code Requirements such as International Building Code, International Plumbing Code, and Civil Engineering related code requirements.
