Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations - Department of the Navy

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Examining assigned claims and reconsideration requests; 2) Analyzing and evaluating all documentation and supporting evidence surrounding a claimed loss to ensure that all necessary information, evidence and forms needed for disposition of claims is provided; 3) Requesting substantiating information from all claimants; 4) Calculating monies owed to claimants; and 5) Negotiating with claimant to deny or settle claim.
