To qualify for this position at the FV-H (FG/GS-12) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G (FG/GS-10/11) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: Experience performing installations, maintenance, operation, and testing duties on complex projects or systems, e.g., replacement of system components or facility maintenance across a large geographical area i.e. the Continental United States (CONUS). Experience reviewing parts of project designs done by others, and written specifications to prevent any possible conflicts with design areas (structural, mechanical, basic electrical, etc.), specifications, or scheduling. Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to troubleshoot and repair systems. Experience planning, scheduling, organizing, and prioritizing workload to accomplish tasks and maintain a focus on organizational objectives. Work with systems such as free standing towers, guyed towers, equipment shelters and other unmanned structures and facilities AND Physical Requirements: You must be able to perform efficiently the essential functions of the position without hazard to yourself or others.
