DA-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Developing and executing communication plans and strategic communications products to align command messaging with strategic guidance and higher headquarters communication goals; 2) Developing, writing, editing, reviewing, and approving materials in multiple formats for release to internal and external audiences, including speeches, articles, presentations, etc.; 3) Responding to requests for information, independently researching responses and using the appropriate format, tone, and style based on needs and organization practices; 4) Planning and executing community engagement and VIP activities; and 5) Advising personnel and command leadership on communication issues impacting the command. DA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Developing, writing, editing, reviewing, and approving materials in multiple formats for release to internal and external audiences; 2) Responding in oral and written form to requests for information, researching responses and using the appropriate format and style based on needs and organization practices; 3) Planning and executing community engagement and VIP activities; and 4) Managing web and social media content.
