Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing logistics management operations that involve planning the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for sustainment of systems that could encompass new and emerging technologies and/or minor fielding requirements; 2) Serving as a technical advisor on logistics within the organization, ILS, and acquisition communities; AND 3) Processing documents and reports associated with the requisition, receipt, storage, inventory, shipment, disposition, and status of general and specialized supplies and equipment used by the organization. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level NH-02 (GS-11) position in the federal service. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition Strategy Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Planning Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation Planning and Evaluating
About the Position: Serves as an expert logistics management specialist, concerned with directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for major complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements. This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 encompasses grades 12 and 13 on the General Schedule.
