ALL QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but not limited to: Experience gained in a terminal or enroute air traffic control facility to evaluate and integrate data derived from air traffic operations reports, such as aviation accident/incident investigations and Operational Performance Reviews. Experience performing work in a major air traffic control staff function, such as Traffic Management or airspace procedures to research and develop methods to maximize the use of available airspace.
This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization, Systems Operations, National Airspace System (NAS) Operations Directorate, Deputy Director of System Operations (DDSOs). This organization serves as the focal point for NAS-wide engagement around system efficiency.
