A qualified candidate must possess: Incumbent should have the ability to operate, control, clean heavy power equipment and to work safely with heavy tools. Ability to provide continual care and attention both to avoid accidents and to finish the work timely and properly. Prior job experience or on-the-job training is normally required to gain this ability. Ability to complete assignments involving several tasks or processes which require remembering directions, sequences, etc. Exerts very heavy physical effort in doing such tasks as frequently lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 lbs, running power mowers on grades or pushing heavy wheelbarrow loads of cement, etc.
This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Golf Division (N923); Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR); Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94); Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, HI. The purpose of this position is to complete laborious tasks as assigned and perform a variety of duties in support of the MWR Golf program at the Navy Marine Golf Course.
