LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (ORDINANCE)

To qualify for the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (ORDINANCE) position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in ordinance related issues, including Explosives Safety, Fleet Ordinance Support, optimizing ordnance positioning, ordinance load plan development, and management of Non-Combat Expenditure Allocation (NCEA). Experience researching explosives safety programs ensuring procedures are consistent with requirements and are implemented per Navy policies. Experience as a technical authority in interpreting explosives safety legislation at the federal, state, and local levels; to include the Department of Defense and the Department of the Navy Experience analyzing explosives safety event waivers, exemptions, or other deviations from standard policies and procedures or Explosives Safety Quantity Distance (ESQD) requirements for trends; to include applying knowledge and experience towards improvement of ordinance handling operations for subordinate commands. Experience providing analytical advice regarding ordinance program execution and ordinance support development. Experience analyzing reports on ordinance inventory resourcing and making recommendations on the realignment of resources within ordinance inventory accounts. Experience leading subordinate commands on the oversight of explosives safety programs and routinely briefing program issues to senior leadership.
