You may qualify at the GS-, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 13 grade level in the Federal service: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Applies knowledge of military analysis, options, and plans on matters related to civilian harm mitigation and response issues impacting partnered and multinational military operations; Evaluates competing priorities and provides military advice; Conducts projects and studies leading to development of policies, products, and initiatives; Compiles inputs into Congressional reports, legislative documents and updates/integrates Congressional briefings with civilian and policy counterparts.
This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Serves as a Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response Action Officer within the Joint Chiefs of Staff providing direct support to areas of implementation of the SecDef-directed Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response-Action Plan, the forthcoming DoD Instruction on Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response, other civilian harm mitigation and response issues impacting all Combatant Command (CCMD) Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
