To qualify for the Supervisory Printing Plant Worker, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must meet the following Screen-Out element, Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision: Interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprint reading) and make decisions regarding execution of policy established by management. to be considered for this position. Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of a Supervisory Printing Plant Worker. The duties typically performed are: Ability to work as a supervisor which includes planning work assignments, materials, coordinating projects, maintaining levels of building conditions, and the ability to counsel employees on custodial work and administrative matters. Must possess knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
