APPOINTMENT STATUS: EXCEPTED This is a Dual Status Excepted Service Technician position in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Bargaining Position AOC 1: NG Employees at the Army Aviation Support Facility #2 AOC 2: NG Employees in the State Army Aviation Office (This includes AASF 1, AASF 2, and EAATS) AOC 3: NG Employees of the Pennsylvania National Guard AOC 4: All service members of the Pennsylvania National Guard (This includes Traditional Airmen, Temporary Technicians and AGR Personnel) Military Grades: WARRANT OFFICER WO1 to CW3 ENLISTED E1 to E9 Supervisor for this position is CW3 May GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience or training working in activities such as large fuel depots or fuel farms with complex, interconnecting line and pipe arrangements, and frequent requirements for large scale movement and transfer of a variety of liquid fuels. QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates’ experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant’s record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.
