Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify for the NH04 level your resume must display one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level or equivalent pay band level in the Federal Service performing the following duties; 1. Analyzing mission requirements to determine cost parameters, specific cost factors and/relationships to support with constructing various cost models; AND 2. Developing cost estimate plans and mathematical models to evaluate variables and relationships affecting life cycle costs for research and development, investment, and operating phases of systems. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Cost Benefit Analysis Cost Estimation and Analysis Data Analysis Mathematical Reasoning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13/ NH-03).
About the Position: Serves as a senior analyst, project leader, technical expert, and consultant responsible for providing technical, schedule, cost, budget, and interoperability advice to management in the area of technical requirements, systems integration, program cost, schedule, acquisition strategies, and budget layout.
