The applicant is to provide a separate narrative statement which describes fully, but concisely, how his/her experience supports each of the following Mandatory Technical Qualifications. Each technical qualification narrative should not exceed 2 pages. Failure to address these specific qualifications in a separate narrative statement will eliminate you from consideration: 1. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Support Equipment (SE) and Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment (ALRE) machinery systems technology development. Demonstrates ability to apply this capability to manned and unmanned aircraft, as well as ability to integrate systems into vessels that these aircraft operate from (i.e., CVNs, LHAs, DDGs, etc). 2. Knowledge of DoD acquisition policy and strategy for technology development solutions for Navy/Marine SE/ALRE systems, associated systems, and systems of systems. Uses tools such as modeling and simulation, model-based systems engineering, and/or live virtual constructive environments in an Research, Development, Test & Engineering (RDT&E) setting. 3. Ability to provide national leadership to develop, influence and implement complex machinery systems and systems-of-systems, including SE/ALRE technology development that will integrate key programmatic, DON, and DoD policies and goals. 4. Capability to lead multiple and/or diverse teams representing RDT&E interests in DON/DoD Systems Technology Development. 5. Ability to negotiate complex solutions within specialty areas with major stakeholders. You will serve as the Support Equipment and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Technical Director Senior Expert in the Research and Engineering Group of Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
