Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 (or equivalent) grade level in the Federal government, performing the following duties: Coordinating and overseeing various programs and projects in support of Facilities Services; determining the maintenance and upkeep requirements of assigned facilities elements, programs, and activities; managing procurement, projects, and contracts for these and other programs; managing budgets and tracks expenditures for maintenance, repair work, new construction, alteration projects, increase in services, and other criteria; developing detailed statements of work, specifications, requests for proposal, and cost estimates; performing full range of Contracting Officer’s Representative’s (COR) responsibilities as required on assigned contracts; and conducting site studies and analysis of the in-house operation to determine capability and method of accomplishment and provides written and oral presentations. ***Failure to submit required documentation will result in an ineligible rating.
