Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpretating, evaluating and integrating Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and intelligence information from all sources as it pertains to Oceanographic, Bathymetric, Hydrographic, METOC, and intelligence capabilities; 2) Utilizing extensive knowledge of the work of the intelligence community and applying same to the area of mapping; 3) Utilizing extensive proficiency with GIS and Remote Sensing tools to manipulate and evaluate intelligence, and remote sensing exploitation techniques for potential application; and 4) Utilizing an extensive knowledge of algorithms or processes to assess and extract information about areas from datasets and databases, ensuring Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) fusion of oceanography, hydrography, bathymetry, imagery data, intelligence information, and other large size datasets. You will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist in the GEOINT Analysis Division, Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) Branch of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
