TECHNICIAN

For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 to GS-08 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying engineering principles and methodologies to provide technical support of the design, development, testing, troubleshooting or repair of manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with explosive safety or technical requirements. For the NT-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-01 (GS-01 to GS-04 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications to perform technical engineering work (e.g. design; troubleshooting; or maintenance and repair of production systems and equipment) in support of manufacturing energetic materials and related systems. You will serve as a Technician in the Equipment Maintenance and Repair Branch (M32) of the Industrial Support Division (M3) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-09 and GS-10 The NT-02 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-05 thru GS-08.
