You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience leading a team, program, or project. AND Analyzing, evaluating, and developing policies and procedures related to records management services. AND Interpreting and applying federal laws, regulations, legal decisions, policies, procedures, and directives pertaining to the receipt and processing of requests made under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F): For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Office Of Presidential Libraries, George Bush Library. The incumbent will serve in a Presidential Library in which presidential materials have been deeded to NARA and is responsible for planning and carrying out professional archival processes on presidential materials and donated collections, and related management and administrative duties.
