MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: All on-board NG Title 5 Excepted Service employees assigned to Title 5 Excepted Service Integrated Prevention Program, must be certified at the next higher grade-level before considered as eligible for merit promotions to Series GS-0101 Integrated Prevention Program positions; and, must have a minimum of one year on-the-job experience in the grade immediately below the next higher level. However, a new hire applicant (to include an on-board Title 32 or a Title 5 Competitive Service employee who is employed in a different series’ position) must have at least two years on-the-job experiences that are commensurate or equivalent to Integrated Prevention Program business, with demonstrated understanding of the principles and concepts defined by a practical knowledge of family programs, military community services, victim advocacy and/or associated functional areas. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various social science resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions.
