In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position: For GS-12: your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in the area of non-nuclear fluid/mechanical submarine systems repair methods, development of technical work documents, and shipyard operations/procedures to support submarine maintenance. Understanding of non-nuclear fluid/mechanical submarine system function and operations. Application of engineering principals and analysis in the troubleshooting and repair of ship system and components. Performing engineering studies and calculations to support departures from specification. Experience with intermediate level maintenance and processes. Coordinating and planning complex jobs with various trades and others in the technical community. For GS-11: your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
