IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN)

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience must include most or all of the following: 1) Deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Servers and utilizing system support software for remote control, patch management, software distribution and operating system deployment; 2) Configuring and administrating backup applications used within the DOD for disaster recovery; 3) Monitoring, troubleshooting, and establishing business continuity for Active Directory Domain Services; 4) Installing, configuring and managing VMware and vSphere infrastructures; 5) Diagnosing system failures and correcting or advising responsible vendor of problem. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Assisting with deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Servers and utilizing system support software for remote control, patch management, software distribution and operating system deployment; 2) Monitoring and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services; 3) Installing, configuring and managing virtual networking environments; 4) Diagnosing system failures and correcting or advising responsible vendor of problem.
