Visual Information Specialist (Sr. Advanced Imaging Specialist)

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-1084-12. For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-11 level in the Federal service, independently performing digital imaging for a museum or cultural institution. Digital Imaging – Knowledge of digital imaging techniques, for two- and three-dimensional works of art. Mentorship – Ability to mentor junior staff on a variety of functions. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as the Senior Advanced Imaging Specialist within the Imaging department (PDE-I). The incumbent mentors junior imaging staff, suggesting workflow improvements and execution of complex photographic and scientific imaging projects across the various studios and wide range of NGA collection of objects.
