FOR THE GS-09 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Installed, operated, modified, and performed preventative and corrective maintenance on primary communication systems for towers and Radar Air Traffic Control Faculties (RATCF); i.e. UHF and WHF transmitters and receivers, antenna systems, remote control units, test, and marine communications systems. 2) Troubleshooting and repairing micro/miniature electronic circuits, i.e. multi-layered/component dense, board environment. 3) Analyzing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining general and special purpose test equipment. 4) Utilizing finding techniques to isolate radio interferences. 5) Performing tasks using microcomputer controls for radio and test equipment systems. 6) Troubleshooting and recommending repair on large-scale integrated circuits use in microcomputer systems. FOR THE GS-07 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Utilizing basic electronics theories used in vacuum tubes, transistors, and digital circuitry to repair and replace components in electronic circuit boards. 2) Troubleshooting and repairing micro/miniature electronic circuits; i.e. multi-layered/component dense, board environment. 3) Analyzing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining general and special purpose test equipment. 4) Utilizing finding techniques to isolate radio interferences. 5) Performing tasks using microcomputer controls for radio and test equipment systems.
