Managing administrative functions related to court reporting such as preparing a verbatim record of trial and evidence handling; 2. Preparing legal depositions and other legal documents; And 3. Using court reporting automation systems such as stenotype machines, voice dictation machines, computers, and software to record court proceedings. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. This position is located in the Office of Military Commissions (OMC). OMC is composed of attorneys and support personnel that provides administrative support, including information technology and security support, for OMC operations. Duties of this position are based on emergent or unanticipated requirements directly related to the security, reconstructions, or draw down efforts to rebuild and create an independent, free and secure Iraq And Afghanistan.
