Supervisory Business Manager

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 11/07/2024. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Developing or monitoring the development of economic impact models that reflect economic, scientific, and engineering considerations appropriate to the industry or geographic area affected by proposed agency actions. Analyzing the economic impact, feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of existing and/or proposed environmental standards, regulations, programs, and policies. Identifying defects or weaknesses in the analytic work performed by officials responsible for the development of regulations and standards. Identifying and analyzing the key issues in proposed regulations, standards, or guidelines. Forecasting effects of proposed regulations and standards such as plant closings, unemployment, price fluctuations, balance of trade impacts, and community disruption. Developing alternative agency strategy, and assessing the environmental and economic tradeoffs. Identifying and assessing Government (Federal, State, and local) resource impacts of proposed agency actions. OR, ???????Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have Master’s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, applied sciences, law, or other fields related to the position is qualifying for GS-11 research positions.. Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Some travel is required. Work Environment: The work is typically performed in an adequately-lighted, and climate-controlled office and requires normal safety precautions. Work is performed in an office setting in an outpatient clinic. This position is to serve as the Supervisory Business Manager providing expert knowledge in analyzing, evaluating, advising, and coordinating health care delivery systems and operations at site specific locations and sends findings to the CBOC Chief. The incumbent is fully responsible for overseeing the planning, directing, supervising, and coordinating of all the administrative aspects of the CBOC.
