AIRFIELD SERVICES DISPATCHER

Your resume must demonstrate that you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a working knowledge of standard dispatching procedures and operations in order to fulfill customer requirements performing the following: 1) Dispatch or schedule Motor Vehicle and/ or Aircraft support equipment in support of an Airfield or other operations 2) Receive vehicle/equipment requests and direct the work operations in controlling employees, equipment, and other resources assigned to a Dispatch Center 3) Utilize two-way radios as a means of communication between Dispatch Operations, operating activities, and vehicle movements 4) Utilize automated systems to enter, track, and manipulate data regarding dispatching operations. You may also qualify using education to substitute for specialized experience. See the “Education” section of this announcement for details.
