GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying security concepts, principles and practices to administer a security program and resolve security issues; 2) Implementing command security procedures for the protection of classified and sensitive unclassified information; 3) Utilizing knowledge of personnel security, physical security, information security and industrial security policies and procedures; 4) Conducting physical security surveys and vulnerability assessments to identify deficiencies within the program; 5) Interpreting and applying agency guidelines, regulations, and policies; and 6) Applying working knowledge of a variety of standard and state-of-the-art security equipment, systems, and devices to recommend appropriate protective methods and security procedures. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying security concepts, principles and practices to administer a security program and resolve security issues; 2) Analyzing and implementing procedures for information; 3) Interpreting and applying agency guidelines, regulations, and policies; 4) Working knowledge of security equipment, systems, and devices; and 5) Assisting with conducting physical security surveys and vulnerability assessments to identify deficiencies within the program.
