To qualify for this position, candidates must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the (FV-H or FG/GS-12) level that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Candidates must include specific examples in their work history to support how they meet the specialized experience. Specialized experience includes: Technical Writing skills required to review or finalize highly technical documents that explain to the public the decisions and data going into those decisions, using broad knowledge of applicable agency policies and regulation. These documents include but are not limited to National Environmental and Policy Act (NEPA), community noise concerns, congressional inquiries, or some other form of communication with the public. Incumbent serves as a management and program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations of the organization assigned.
