Voluntary Intern

Interested applicants must apply by 11:59 ET on November 15, 2024, and will be required to upload a cover letter, resume, and transcript (including GPA) from their most recent educational institution. Applicants MUST submit all required documentation. Missing documentation will deem your application ineligible. If you do not submit sufficient documentation necessary to demonstrate that you meet the eligibility requirements described in this announcement, your application will be deemed incomplete, and you will be found ineligible.
The Voluntary Internship Program is an unpaid internship program. Working under the direction of NARA staff, interns will be exposed to a broad spectrum of work and opportunities across various offices, records centers, libraries, and museums. Spring internships will begin the week of January 27, 2025 or February 3, 2025 and will last for 12 weeks. Participants must complete a 100-hour minimum requirement.
