Historian (INDEF) (TITLE 32)

Minimum Requirements A. Degree: history; or related field that included at least 18 semester hours in history. OR B. Combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in history, or a major in a related field that included at least 18 semester hours in history, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. Specialized Experience: Have experience that provided knowledge of established historical research methods and techniques, to include collection, evaluation, and analysis of historical facts. Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and making presentations. Experience preparing reports and other written communication. Experience and skill with problem solving. Experience or knowledge of the National Guard history and operational capabilities.
This National Guard position is for a Historian (INDEF) (TITLE 32), the Position Description Number D1198000 and is part of the PAO, located in Draper, UT with the Utah National Guard. The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is LTC Chris Kroeber.
