A qualified candidate possess the following: Requires practical knowledge of security procedures, processes, methods, and techniques. Detailed knowledge of specific procedures and policies will be gained within the assignment. Skill in verbal expression to explain processes and procedural matters Must possess excellent computer skills and be able to reach high level of proficiency in agency systems including civilian timekeeping systems, automated fingerprint and security systems, regional personnel and safety databases and non-appropriated personnel systems (SAPHR) Must have demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook to input and maintain records, create reports and presentation materials, and communicate with employees. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills including grammar, spelling, punctuation, phone etiquette and basic business writing skills. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
