In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Accounting Experience – Responsible for maintaining an entire accounting program characterized by multiple complex system interfaces. The work requires extensive application of accounting theory, concepts, and practices to resolve problems and effect improvements in the overall financial management program. Customer Service – establish and maintain liaison with DFAS, high level HQ and lower echelon command to trouble shoot specialized problems to ensure timely execution and billing can occur. Reporting – Provides expert interpretation of accounting reports, statements and other accounting data to leadership and/or program managers.
